Handrails and Balustrade systems
We can provide a comprehensive range of design solutions for both internal and external requirements in many different materials and styles. Products range from prestigious balustrades in stainless steel and glass, to ‘back of house’ and utilitarian locations. If required products can be compliant with Part M of the buildings regulations with regards to persons with disabilities.
Plant access and mezzanine floors
Strafford Fabrications manufacture and install a wide range of access solutions essential to modern factories and commercial buildings. As well as access stairs we manufacture plant decks and open mesh floor systems, cut ladders, handrails, edge protection and acoustic screening. Installation to even the most inaccessible places is routinely carried out by our directly employed erectors
Canopies and solar shading
Canopies provide much appreciated shelter as well as extending the visual style of the building to which they are mounted, in an attractive and practical way. Solar shading to windows is an increasing important consideration to many modern buildings to keep down air conditioning costs and reduce environmental impact.

General steel fabrication and welding
At our fabrication works our multi skilled workforce can offer a wide range of manufacturing processes including, MIG + TIG welding’s, sawing, drilling, punching and forming, metal polishing and full fabrication services.
Structural and secondary steelwork
As part of our involvement with the construction sector we often are called upon to manufacture and install steel ‘column and beam’ works, wind posts, lintels and masonry support steel.
We are currently working towards compliance with the CE marking directive which will be applicable to structural steelwork from July 2014.
Site erection and welding services
Strafford Fabrications also offers a flexible installation service for all your steelwork of welding requirements. All site staff are qualified and experienced in their field. Risk Assessments and Method Statements are always put in place to ensure safety and compliance with your site practices.
